Artrose (slijtage) is een aandoening van het kraakbeen in gewrichten. Bij subtalaire artrose is er sprake van slijtage in het onderste spronggewricht. Pijnklachten en stijfheid onder het niveau van de enkel staan op de voorgrond. Bij uitblijven van resultaat van conservatieve behandeling kan geopereerd worden.
